Greer, SC – PercUp! Percussion Showcase is proud to present Rascal Flatts’ drummer Jim Riley in concert on Saturday, May 10th, 7:00pm, at Riverside High School in Greer, SC. Jim is the drummer and bandleader for multi-platinum group, Rascal Flatts. Jim has played over a thousand sold out shows for millions of fans. Rascal Flatts has sold over 22.5 million albums and over 28 million digital downloads. They delivered 14 #1 singles to the top of the charts. Rascal Flatts is the most awarded Country group of the past decade, earning over 40 trophies from the ACAs, ACMs, AMAs, CMAs, People’s Choice Awards and more.

In 2011-2014, the readers of Modern Drummer Magazine voted Jim Riley “Best Country Drummer” and Jim also won “best drum clinician” in 2009. The readers of DRUM! agree, voting Jim “Country Drummer of the Year” 2008-2010, 2012-2013. Jim received his degree in Music Education at the University of North Texas. He performed with the NT drumline, where they won 5 national championships. Jim also played in the Drum Corps International Finals as a member of the Velvet Knights Drum and Bugle Corps.

His television credits include The Grammy Awards, The Tonight Show, The American Music Awards,The Voice, American Idol, Dancing with the stars, Oprah, and The Today Show. Jim’s recording credits include Rascal Flatts’ Upcoming CD Rewind, as well as multi-platinum disc, ‘Me and My Gang’, EA sports ‘MADDEN 11 Football,’ Brian McKnight’s album, ‘Ten,’ as well as movie soundtracks for ‘Heaven is Real’ and ‘Hannah Montana: The Movie.’
